Thank you for this encyclopedic summary! You are practically doing the work of the entire (former) CDC. I am going to assume that we will need to wear masks in clinics, labs, and hospitals, and on airplanes, trains and buses, for the rest of our lives...(?) But is there any obvious way for us to determine when we could reasonably go back to restaurants, forget the masks at the grocery store, etc.?
Regarding wearing masks, I think that it all depends on what the level of COVID and other viruses are in wastewater in your area, along with how well your immune system works, and your comfort level. Some people with normal immune systems may feel comfortable taking off masks or going to an indoor restaurant now, while others will need to be more careful. For me, wearing a mask in the grocery is not a big deal, so I will keep doing it.
Thank you for continuing to report what is out there. I believe we will be hearing about long covid indefinitely. I hope we can find something that will ease symptoms for folks!
