You seem to be highlighting the modeling of JP Weiland more then Mike Hoerger and I wonder why? I like them both. They bring different things to the table. However, JP's analysis frequently stresses how much better things were than some other point in recent time without paying much attention to the fact that there is now a constant baseline of infection that is still causing death and disability. When I read it, I feel better (and it is better that is lower) but it makes me lose sight of the continuing background level of infection in between the waves.
